To my Jesus

She runs across the fields

And dances among the lilies

Singing songs of praise with joy and much gratitude

For her eyes have seen a different reality

And her heart has experienced a greater love,

The faithfulness of her maker!

And so she says:

You have filled me with wonder!

And made all your ways known!

You have sustained me throughout the years, I was never alone!

The Lord my help sustains me,

the Lord my shepherd cares!

He walks before me, goes behind me,

And my burden bears!

Who can separate us from your Love?!

Who can take me away?

In green pastures he leads me,

I shall never go astray!

He guides my feet to the mountains, a higher ground to view and see..

His mercy and faithfulness throughout the years, to look back and remember how gracious he has been to me!

I look at the horizon and gaze at the view:

"where would I be today?

Where would I be without you?"

You deliver me from all my enemies,

like the wind they're all gone!

How can I supress this joy inside?

who will keep me from singing at dawn?

The Lord my salvation reigns!

The Lord my salvation is strong!

He fights my battles,

Wins my case,

to him I belong!

With deep gratitude I stand speachless,

lift up my hands to heaven and say:

"You are the best thing that happened to me baba!

At the dead end of the road,

my God has made a way!"

Let your love be manifest

let your truth be revealed!

To the deaf world and blind eyes,

to the lies which are in darkness concealed!

Shed your light upon them,

speak healing over the land

in your love I will abide,

By your truth I will forever stand!

In the hands of the potter I surrender myself, shape me the way you wish, make me as new!

Continue the good work you started, so that everything will be made to be a reflection of you!
