On the light of 1 Cornthians 13:

If I speak in tongues of men and of angels

If I have faith which can move mountains

Yet have no love.. I am nothing.

If attentively I listen

If wisely I advise

And boldly I preach

In authority and power I pray

If my words cut deep like an arrow

And greatly influence and move the crowd

Yet I have no love to others.. I am nothing.

If I speak of mysteries and great revelations

If I have knowledge in all things

If I prophesy of what will come

And see dreams and wonders

Yet have no love to others.. I am nothing

If I fully dedicate myself to ministry

And engage in all sorts of activities

If I fast and cry out day and night

Yet have no love, I am nothing.

If I make large donations

And give all that I have for the needy

If I build a home for the homless

Or act like a father to the fatherless

Yet have no love, I am nothing.

If I clothe the naked

And give food to the hungry

If I visit the sick

And lay hands on the broken

Yet have no love, I am nothing!

Love is patient

Love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast,

it is not proud.

 It does not dishonor others,

it is not self-seeking

it is not easily angered

it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil

 but rejoices with the truth.

 It always protects

always trusts,

always hopes

always perseveres.

 Love never fails!

So let us humble ourselves

And examine our ways

Do I genuinely have love to others?

Or am only a preformer of all these by the name of love, yet I am nothing?

If we say we know him

After his example we must walk.

Because

Jesus is patient

Jesus is kind

He does not envy

He does not boast..

Jesus is not proud

He is not self seeking

He is not easily angered

he keeps no record for wrongs

He does not delight in evil

But rejoices with the truth

Jesus never fails.

"By this they will know that you are my deciples indeed if you have love for one another"

Amen.

Mk
